EYE OF THE STORM, co-presented by Mandarin Vision, won 5 awards among its 13 nomiations at the 25th Taipei Film Awards, including Best Director and Best Leading Actor for Wang Po-chieh, who previously won Best Newcomer. DAY OFF won two awards - Best Leading Actress (Lu Hsiao-fen) and Best Leading Actor (Fu Meng-po).
